This series has been created in collaboration with Gianfranco and Cindia. The works symbolize what the characters’ lives are about and the themes they represent.
These are genesis pieces that only give a hint. New works will be created as the characters evolve!
About the series “Questions of Identity”
All of the characters in the world of “The Spice Temple” start off in a particular state. But as the story and their journeys progress, how will they change? “The Spice Temple – The Journey Begins” is the first of six works. Get a glimpse into what their journeys are about and follow to see who they will become.
Who is Yasmin?
Yasmin is a classical pianist. Despite her talents, she is rejected from Juilliard. The disappointment runs deep, so she chooses to follow another path for a little while. Where will the notes lead her on her musical journey of self-discovery?
What is Ishan?
Ishan is a talented Indian chef. He travels as a boy with his Mewari artist father, and he knows about the richness of Indian culture and cuisine. He generously shares his culture and superb cuisine with his friends at his restaurant, The Haveli.
But under the shadow of family history, his maddening envy leads him to mad experiments. Ishan wants to become a modern chef. Where will the spices lead him?
Why is Rafael?
Rafael is shrouded in an existence veiled in disdain and contempt. Smoke lingers wherever he goes, whether from his own long dragging puffs or in his twisted dream world. From smoky boudoirs to fiery fights, can he make the visions and his raging outlashes ever stop?
BIOGRAPHY OF GIANFRANCO BIANCHI

Gianfranco Bianchi is an accomplished creative professional with a 20-year career spanning illustration, 2D and 3D animation, modeling, and filmmaking. He has gained international recognition for his work in various creative disciplines.
Gianfranco’s experience includes serving as the photographer and animator for a notable fashion project that traveled from Miami to New York, Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Tokyo. His work brought a unique visual perspective to this project.
He’s also made a significant impact in the field of digital interactive experiences, particularly in Extended Reality (XR). At the Opera of Lausanne, he established an XR branch, and his animations have enriched the experience of live performances.
Currently serving as the Chief Creative Officer at Xavatar LTD., based in Ireland, Gianfranco is at the forefront of shaping the future of immersive technologies. His leadership is instrumental in ensuring that Xavatar’s projects are not only visually stunning but also push the boundaries of immersive experiences, enriching the digital landscape with each endeavor.
Gianfranco Bianchi is an artist and visionary who continues to redefine creativity and innovation in the ever-evolving world of immersive technologies and digital arts.
