“Inspired by Nature” – A Sensory Storytelling Event at The Dolder Grand
August 26, 2025: On a late-summer evening, The Dolder Grand hosted “Inspired by Nature by Spice Journeys” — a sensory storytelling event blending literature, film, and cuisine.
Inspired by the novel “The Spice Temple – The Journey Begins” by Cindia Luest and the beautiful Blooms restaurant, the evening invited guests to explore new ways of connecting through imagination, conversation, and the senses.

The Hidden Garden

This collection of short stories is based on the backstory of The Lady and The Gentleman from “The Spice Temple” novel.
Inspired by Covid, but within a different context, the characters have to go into hiding when the world outside is in trouble.
Within their secret world, they find ways to go within when you can’t go out, as we all have had to do.
